Main uses
Rail fixation and stability
The bottom of the rail is clamped by elastic bars or bolts to prevent longitudinal crawling or lateral displacement of the rail and maintain the gauge accuracy.
Disperse the train load to the sleepers or track plates to reduce the stress concentration in the rails.
2. Shock absorption and noise reduction
The underrail pad provides buffering, absorbs the impact and vibration of the wheel-rail, and reduces noise.
It is applicable to urban rail transit or passenger dedicated lines with high requirements for shock absorption.
3. Electrical insulation
Insulating gaskets and gauge plates can block the current between rails and are used in electrified railways or signal track circuit sections.
4. Adjust the geometric position of the track
By adjusting the tightness of the gaskets or bolts, the height, gauge and horizontal direction of the rails can be fine-tuned to meet the requirements of the smoothness of the line.

 

Typical usage scenarios
Conventional railways (such as freight trunk lines)
It is suitable for existing lines with wooden sleepers or concrete sleepers, bearing large axle load trucks, emphasizing structural strength and durability.
2. Passenger dedicated lines and high-speed railways
When used in conjunction with concrete ballastless track, the highly elastic design enhances ride comfort (such as in some lines of China's high-speed rail).
3. Urban rail transit (metro, light rail)
The demand for shock absorption is high, and elastic split-type fasteners (such as DT series fasteners) are often used to reduce noise inside tunnels.
4. Tunnel or bridge sections
Due to environmental constraints, compact fasteners are required. The separate design facilitates maintenance and adjustment.
5. Small-radius curves or sections with large slopes
Enhance the clamping force to prevent the rail from overturning, and cooperate with the gauge baffle to maintain the stability of the gauge.
