Main uses
Fix the steel rails
Firmly press the rails onto the rail sleepers to prevent longitudinal crawling or lateral displacement of the rails under the load of the train and ensure the stability of the geometric dimensions of the rails.
2. Provide elastic buffering
Through the combined design of elastic pads and elastic strips, the impact and vibration during train operation are absorbed, the noise of the wheel-rail is reduced, and the service life of the track and vehicle components is prolonged.
3. Adjust the gauge and rail height
The gauge (±4 to 8mm) and the height of the rail surface can be fine-tuned by adjusting the gauge baffle and the underrail pad, to meet the requirements of construction and later maintenance.
4. Insulation protection (Electrical Section)
Insulated gauge blocks and underrail pads are adopted to meet the insulation requirements of the track circuit in electrified railways and prevent signal interference.

 

Usage scenarios
Conventional railways have ballasted track
It is applicable to ordinary-speed railways with a designed speed of 160km/h or less, such as freight trunk lines and ordinary passenger lines.
2. Heavy-haul railway
It is used in heavy-haul railways with large axle loads and high density (such as the Daqin Railway), and its strong clamping force and durability can withstand large loads.
3. Station lines and arrival and departure lines
It is often used in sections such as station tracks and arrival and departure tracks where the requirements for smoothness are relatively low.
4. Environmental adaptability
It is suitable for environments with large temperature differences, heavy rain or dust. Its anti-corrosion design (such as galvanized elastic strips) can adapt to general corrosive conditions.

 

Structural characteristics
Composition:
Spring bar: Type A or Type B spring bar, providing clamping force (generally ≥8kN).
Gauge baffle: Adjust the gauge, available in multiple models to meet the requirements of different gauges.
Underrail pad: Rubber or composite materials, providing elasticity and insulation.
Bolt spikes: Anchored to the sleepers, they fix the fasteners as a whole.
Separate design: The spring bar and the gauge baffle are separated, facilitating individual replacement and adjustment.

 

Elastic Type I split fasteners are an economical and practical choice for ballasted tracks in conventional railways, balancing performance, cost and maintenance convenience, and are suitable for operating environments with medium loads and speeds.
