Product Description

Railway turnout sleeper bolts are key connecting components specifically used to fix the sleepers and rails in the turnout area, mainly undertaking the following functions:
Turnout structure anchoring
Firmly lock the key components of the turnout, such as the point rail, base rail and guard rail, onto the turnout pillow to prevent lateral displacement or longitudinal crawling when the train passes through.
2. Withstand composite stress
The force-bearing area of the turnout is complex. The bolts need to resist the vertical pressure, lateral squeezing force and centrifugal force of the curve section caused by the impact of the wheels.
3. Insulation isolation
The bolts in the electrified section are equipped with nylon sleeves or coatings to prevent short circuits in the track circuits and ensure the normal transmission of the signal system.
4. Maintenance of geometric dimensions
By precisely tightening to ensure the stability of parameters such as gauge and level, the high-frequency maintenance requirements in the turnout area are reduced.

(1) Turnout core area
Switch part: Fixes the pointed rail and the slide bed plate, and withstands the mechanical stress of frequent changes.

Crossing lines: Higher-strength bolts are required at the junctions of multiple sets of turnouts.

Tunnel turnouts: Resistant to moisture and corrosion, usually made of stainless steel.
In high-cold regions: High toughness is required at low temperatures to avoid brittle fracture.

High-speed railway turnouts: Alloy steel bolts with excellent fatigue resistance are required.

Strength grade: Generally, 8.8 grade or 10.9 grade is required (tensile strength ≥800/1000 mpa).
Anti-corrosion performance: The thickness of the galvanized layer is ≥50μm, and there is no red rust after 500 hours of salt spray test.
Insulation resistance: The insulation resistance of the bolts in the live section should be ≥10Ω (500V DC).
Torque standard: The tightening torque of M24 bolts is generally 200 to 300N·m. Overloading can damage the turnout.
